Newark's Country Kitchen

This place felt like going into a restaurant with my grandma when I was a kid. The food was excellent and the prices were great. Definitely worth our drive back this way. Would highly recommend stopping in!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn Fox River Resorts and we stumbled on this restaurant a few minutes down the road and we were pleasantly surprised.. we weren't sure what to expect from a small town diner next to a gas station., but it turned out to be a really good choice for dinner. Fantastic service provided by the waitress.. she was patient with our boys and my mother-in-law, kept our drinks full and even brought us a nice treat to take home. Mainly good old fashioned American fare. I really enjoyed the fried Cod and fries, my son's fried chicken sandwich was huge, and my other two picky boys lived the tenders, and we all loved the soups. My wife's pot roast was just ok . The restaurant was clean with a nice country theme and homey feel. I really recommend this place for those families visiting Pirates Cay water park or Holiday Inn resort, it's close, convenient, and very good.

Pleasant experience! I wasn't expecting to get such a great meal, but what a surprise. I went back on a Sunday afternoon ( I was in the area), but they were closed. Best chicken dumpling soup I ever had.

A wonderful small-town restaurant. Atmosphere is fun. Major variety of choices on menu. Food was really good & plentiful. Pictured is a skillet breakfast in foreground & french toast plate in background. Waitresses were very pleasant & service was top notch. Highly recommended & we can't wait to go back & take a few more folks to join.

My husband and I have been here once before and it was really good. Decided to come out for breakfast this morning and came back. We're in sandwich but we made the drive! It was just a good as we remember! (My pic is anyway mostly eaten lol. Big portions! Honestly, we could have shared one meal)

My husband and I love Newark's Country kitchen. Food is always good, wait staff always friendly. As an example, one night I went in alone, (we usually meet here on our ways home for dinner). Waitress/Hostess asked where hubby was. He was out of town with work.

We arrived and they immediately cleared a table to seat us. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was delicious we got the biscuits and gravy skillet, the CK burger, an omelet, and pancakes everything was a 10/10. Would definitely go again.

Great place we will be back Got my eggs wrong and forgot oj. But great food.
